This weekend we celebrated our town's annual Dozinky festival. It included a car cruise night, parade, lots of yummy Czech food, visiting with old and new friends, playing at the park, watching a fire-fighting match, and tug-o-war. It was a fun filled two days! After Halloween last year I hit up the clearance rack at Target for Olivia's costume for this Halloween. I found a Little Red Riding Hood outfit. About a week ago I realized how similar it looks to the traditional Czech outfits many people wear to the Dozinky festival. So, Olivia sported the look early. She fit right in and looked like she should have been on the Czech singers or dancers floats in the parade.
