Twinning.

Christmas Eve with the Clarks consisted of an amazing meal, opening gifts, the kids' nativity skits (serious and silly versions), and playing "heads-up".

Christmas morning the kids were so excited to see that Santa came, and brought them each a bell from his sleigh like they asked for. He also brought Olivia a Ken doll, and Henry Legos, along with snacks for both of them. It was especially nice having Grandma and Grandpa there to witness this Christmas excitement too. Santa even brought Grandma a beautiful diamond ring! After that we had our traditional breakfast of monkey bread and headed to church.

We hung out with the Sticha family all afternoon and evening. We tried something new and did a shrimp boil for dinner. The house was especially full of dogs, with the ones each of our families own, plus one Brent was dog sitting. It was such a fun day full of food, gifts, joking, laughter, oogling over Ollie, playing with the kids, etc. Certainly one of those days I enjoy sitting back and soaking it all in, feeling overwhelmingly blessed by my family.

The kids put on their nativity play for the Sticha family. They did it twice so that Olivia and Savannah could each have a turn playing Mary. They were excited to have Ollie be Baby Jesus. Olivia made tickets for everyone. She collected the ticket before marking an X on each person's hand and then would allow them in the basement for the show. Troopers Katelyn and Donovan took part in the nativity as well by playing the inn-keeper and donkey respectfully.
