Christmas

We started our Christmas celebrations on Saturday night with our own little family. We had appetizers for dinner and the kids opened their gifts. Olivia got a bundle of Harry Potter related items, and Henry got a set of stuff for swimming. Henry was excited to pick out an American Girl doll outfit for Olivia (with glasses), and Olivia made Henry a book with a story about them traveling back in time to the Titanic.

The Clark side celebration on Christmas Eve Day consisted of another amazing meal. Then we opened gifts and the kids put on the Nativity play. New this year was Minute to Win It games. We had such a fun time!

The Sticha side celebrated on Christmas Day. We spent all day eating, playing poker, watching the kids' Nativity play, opening gifts, and just spending time together. Over the course of both days, Olivia gave all the gifts she has been working so hard on making the last several months. It was perhaps my favorite part of Christmas this year.

Making mocha cakes- a tradition we always did with Grandma Tuma.
