Easter

Easter with the Clarks took place the weekend before since their family was headed to Florida for spring break. It was the first time gathering with everyone in over a year. It still didn’t feel 100% comfortable, but Mike, Mary, Pat and I were fully vaccinated, so it was better. Being able to give hugs to Mike and Mary again felt great! I made dessert and topped it with a happy birthday sign, since we hadn’t been able to celebrate any birthdays over the past year.

Saturday we had Mike and Mary over. We were happy with how everything turned out! It was a beautiful day to enjoy opening Easter baskets and eating dessert outside. 

We attended the Easter Vigil mass Saturday night. It was nice to be there in person compared to the online Easter mass of last year. We had a nice, relaxed Easter morning. The kids found their baskets and we enjoyed breakfast outside.

 

Easter with the Sticha side was celebrated outside at the pool. Grandma got a cookie decorating kit, so the kids had fun with that.
