Thanksgiving(s)

Thanksgiving number one was at Mike and Mary's house. We cooked the meal at our place and transported it to their house for us to eat with them and Sister Bernice. Mary said multiple times how much she appreciated that. It was our first time cooking a Thanksgiving meal for other people, and I'd say we did a pretty good job... especially considering the transportation factor too.

Then we headed to Tom and Kari's for appetizers, karaoke and games. The grown-up kids sure had us laughing a lot.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Sticha side in the pool house. It was also Pat's birthday, so we celebrated with a cake then too. My highlight was having Ellie paint my fingers and toes.

Finally, we celebrated with the Tuma side. Jack took us on a hayride! While a little long and chilly for some, it was a fun, unique activity that may become a new tradition.
