Lutsen Vacation

This past weekend we took a trip with Pat's family to Lutsen. There were many firsts for Olivia over the last few days. It was her longest trip from home, and the first time she spent the night away from home. On the ride home, we even noticed her first few teeth coming in! Here are some snap-shots from the trip:

On the drive up we stopped for a stretch. Olivia wanted to help daddy drive, but she mostly just chewed on the steering wheel.

We visited Split Rock Light House and visited Gooseberry Falls this day too. Olivia did very well and had fun looking at everything as we hiked.

Olivia went swimming with her cousins at the resort pool. She seemed to like the water, but enjoyed watching her silly cousins even more.

We took a gondola ride just across from our resort. As we were going up up up, my nerves set in a little, but the breath taking view distracted me. You can see Olivia's shock! It really was beautiful, with a rushing waterfall, lush trees, colorful flowers, and a few deer sightings.

The end of the trip proved to be exhausting for Olivia. She fell asleep just moments after getting back from a morning hike.
