Grandma Clark has a tradition of working on projects with the grand kids. One project is making a small quilt with them when they are young. Olivia and Grandma Clark started that project today. Earlier Olivia helped pick out the fabric. Today she helped to stencil orange flowers on one of the border pieces. As Grandma Clark sewed the boarder pieces on, she had Olivia pull out the pins. I wasn't sure how much a two year old could contribute to making a quilt, but Mary does a good job of including her in every step that is safe, being patient with her, and teaching her along the way.
