When we were out for a walk one time this fall, I mentioned how this spot, which is kiddy-corner to our house, would make a nice Christmas card photo spot. I was picturing a dusting of snow, but timing didn't quite work out for that. We had a good laugh at how having two dogs made it more challenging for my tripod/self timer combo. They did manage to give us a few pics of "looking" at the camera.
