Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2020 looked different, as everything has this year. We had a little celebration at home, just the four of us. We made our own Thanksgiving meal, making a turkey for the first time ever. We each had a part of the meal: Pad made the turkey, Tiffany the sweet potatoes, Olivia the green beans, and Henry the mashed potatoes. It was all so delicious! We really impressed ourselves! Pat got the dogs some bones from the meat market, so that kept them quite occupied through the meal.

We watched bits of the Thanksgiving Day parade, followed by the Dog Show. It gave us a laugh when Lily would growl at the dogs on the TV. Since we didn't see family, we Facetimed Mike and Mary and had a Zoom with Tom and Kari's family. Pat's birthday was on Thanksgiving, so of course we celebrated with his favorite cheesecake too.
