Cancer

 

We learned today that my dad has bile duct cancer. I won't go into detail about it here on the blog since we have a CaringBridge site, but I did feel like I wanted to mark the start of this journey here too. 

Since I've back-dated the post, we are actually at the start of August now. Dad had been through four chemo treatments so far with two more still scheduled. It has been such a blessing to be off from work this summer to bring my dad to appointments.
