This past Saturday we got together with some good college friends. We had a wonderful meal, the guys played poker, and the ladies visited. There are 4 kids in the crew now, so it was fun watching them play together. Three of us are expecting, so it's exciting to think that the kid population going to almost double!
Unfortunately the drive home wasn't as fun. We left at 11, and got Olivia in bed by 3:30 AM. The ice covered the roads, making travel go from 40 mph to a pretty drastic standstill as we waited for vehicles to make it up even the slightest incline. The worst time was when 5 semi trucks were all stuck trying to get up the same incline. It required other traffic to funnel into one lane that swerved through the mess of semis. Although it took us forever, I was so thankful to get home safe and sound.
