Ultrasound day today revealed that our baby will be a boy! It's funny how you forget the uncomforatable parts of pregnancy like loading your bladder with 40 ounces of water prior to the appointment, but it was all worth it! There is nothing like seeing those moving fingers, legs, and the heart-beat on the screen. The little guy was shy and stubborn though and wouldn't let us get a clear profile picture, so the pictures weren't as much fun as they were with Olivia. Regardless, we still got the all-clear that everything looks just fine!
The good thing about knowing the gender is that we can mentally prepare Olivia. She still claims we are having a girl, so it will take some time. She was all smiles at the ultrasound though and our way home as we talked about having a baby brother, so I'm guessing she'll turn around just fine.
Already the perks of having a boy... I get to do a little extra shopping and checking out the clearance racks over the next few months. Also, we have about 8 friends having babies between January and April, and so far every single one that has found out the gender is a boy! So, our little fella will have lots of friends to play with!

YAY congratulations Tiff!! Very exciting and you have 8 friends have boys in the spring? Holy cow!! Watch out!! :)
Orelia still says sometimes that ours is a sister. I think she gets confused because we tell her she is going to be a good big sister. She'll figure it all out when he comes ;) Congratulations!!!
