Visit with Santa

This weekend we brought Olivia to a local business which was sponsoring a Santa visit. We have gone here each year because the Santa is so friendly, there aren't any lines, and it doesn't cost a penny! Olivia seems to understand much more about Santa this year, and we talk about him often, so I was feeling more confident that she would be comfortable going to him. She started standing next to him, looking in the other direction to avoid acknowledging that he was there. He invited her to give him a high five and "knock knuckles" which warmed her up. He grabbed her to put on his lap and she actually looked okay with it. We got a few nice pictures, and she was able to tell him she wanted a Barbie for Christmas. Overall, a huge success!
