Christmas 2010

Christmas celebrations continue to be more and more special around here. It was such a delight this year to see how excited Olivia got about everything. Special highlights included:

• Having Olivia open a door on her Advent calendar from Grandma and Grandpa Clark each morning, revealing a special gift. (Tutu, stickers, and Polly Pocket toys were some favorites.)
• Having conversations with Olivia about the Christmas story. I was amazed at how much she could comprehend with each talk about Baby Jesus.
• Wrapping gifts together (Even if the tape wasn't perfect.)
• Spending Christmas Eve with the Clarks, and watching her play with her cousins.
• Waking her up Christmas morning to see what Santa brought her.
• Spending Christmas Day with the Stichas.
• Seeing her excitement now as she plays with new and special gifts she was given.
