Today was a beautiful fall day... 56 and sunny. After lunch the kids and I got outside. The kids played while I took pictures, and then we went exploring in the woods. It's one of my favorite things to do here. I love stopping when we find something cool, observing it and talking to the kids about it. Moss, mushrooms, a squirrel's stash of acorns, leaves, etc.

| Somehow I caught glimpse of this little guy munching on a leaf. I couldn't believe how close we got (just a few inches) before it hopped away. It's so fun to observe nature! |
