Olivia and I had the amazing experience of attending the Stubenville Catholic Youth Conference on the St. Thomas campus. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were totally blown away! The speakers were amazing. There were so many prayer opportunities: mass three times, morning prayer, Devine Mercy Chaplet, the Rosary, Adoration and Reconciliation. The band Sonar did the most wonderful job... The teens were so energetic and excited to rush the stage and dance to their music, yet they all transitioned into calm adoration music and singing so easily. The highlight of the weekend was witnessing the teens during adoration. So moved by the presence of Christ in the Eucharist, teens were overcome emotionally by the experience. It was incredible to witness. Plus, we got to experience a taste of campus life- sleeping in the dorm, walking the beautiful campus, and enjoying the meals. We are so excited to participate again next year.
