Stillwater

Today we did something I have been looking forward to all summer; a day trip to Stillwater. Pat had the day off, and it was perfect weather for it. We loaded up the car with the stroller, Bjorn, camera, and a picnic lunch.

Our first stop was Teddy Bear Park, where we had our picnic lunch and Olivia enjoyed the super cool tree house and play equipment. I'm sure Daddy is proud that her favorite was the back-hoe.

Next stop was the river front. We parked the car and headed up and down Main Street and the river. We stopped at a shop where a friend of mine has some of her art work featured. It was fun to see a piece of her work hanging in the store window, and more inside with her name scrawled along the bottms of the paintings.

Pat and I were also excited about a trip to Leo's Malt Shop; a place we went to with friends back in college but not again since. YUM! Olivia enjoyed every last drop, and was careful not to share any with Henry! Poor little fella. Soon enough buddy.

We ended with a quick photoshoot by the river. My kids proving once again that they do not offer up posed pictures of looking at the camera with smiles easily. No photos of them with me were worthy of posting for that reason. Oh well.

We had a nice day, enjoying a beautiful city. We'll have to go back soon.
