2.20.12 The middle of February. Who would have thought we'd have a ball at a local park this time of year?! At 39 degrees and no snow on the ground it was almost a perfect day for it. It was a bit windy, so the first park we went to got a veto and we opted for a park with more houses around it to block out some of the wind. We had a ball! Olivia took off right away, and Henry enjoyed spending the time in mama's arms, swinging, sliding, and chasing after sister. Tucker tagged along too, and Pat threw the ball for him so much that he started rolling in the little snow there was to cool off. (Tucker that is, not Pat.)

| No need to call child protection. We tried to get Olivia to zip her jacket, but she refused. She wanted people to see her pretty flowers on her shirt. Never mind the fact that no one else was at the park to see it. |

| Tucker took to eating the snow. |
What a perfect day. Better yet, it wore the kids out so much, they took nice naps this afternoon. To say I'm just a little excited about spring to come is the understatement of the century.
