Cabin Weekend

This weekend we opened up the cabin.  It sure is quite a bit of work to get it up and running smoothly for summer.  Lots of washing, scrubbing, cutting lawn, pulling weeds, putting in the dock, fixing, etc.  Working as a family made it faster and more fun.

Along with the work we also enjoyed some down time (well, I was correcting school papers!), bonfires, grilling, visiting, etc.  Oh yes, and laughing at Katelyn who jumped into the lake off of a dare.  It was a chilly 50 degrees, but she made $40!  It was a good weekend, and as always, I look forward to many more!
