So for the last several months Olivia has been drawing a lot of people. I was always so excited for her art to elevate from scribbles to intentional drawings. It has been a blast to see her people develop. The general form is still the same... circle for a head, legs and arms extending from it, two eyes and a line for a mouth. What cracks me up lately are the additional features... arching lines over the head for hair, ears, nose, shoes, teeth, and even "wrekles" (freckles). This picture shows another one of Olivia's obsessions; the Wonder Pets. The Wonder Pets are on a cartoon show she loves. They often travel with her as a sort of imaginary friends. Here, she drew them, along with Lenny's mom and sister (Who don't even exist on the show!) I'm excited to see where her artwork goes from here!
